When applied to the skin, it leaves a layer of oil on the surface of the skin that prevents water evaporating from the skin surface. It is a very greasy moisturizer. It is also water repellent and helps protect the skin from irritants. It is an emollient, sometimes known as skin lubricant. Benefits of being on this product can include restoring the skin's smoothness, softness, and flexibility by helping the skin retain its moisture.

• Remains on the skin for longer, so the moisturizing effect lasts longer.
• As a moisturizer: To restore skin's smoothness, softness and flexibility, apply as often as required, particularly before or after washing.
• For the prevention of chafing: Before walking or sports activities, apply to areas where friction occurs between skin and clothing
