Fluimucil 600mg Effervescent Tablets 10s

Fluimucil contains acetylcysteine, a mucolytic which may be used to clear phlegm and liquefy thick and viscous mucus secretions caused by respiratory conditions such as:

• Acute, chronic bronchitis and Pneumonia.

Indication:

• Used to eliminate excess mucus and phlegm in colds and flu in adults.

USP:

• Palatable taste of lemon
• Convenient packaging for patient, portable blisters of two effervescent
• Each tablet is protected by blister, ensuring quality of effervescent till time of use (versus tube packaging)
• Can be taken with or without food.

Contraindications:

• Patients suffering from phenylketonuria due to the aspartame content.
• Children below 2 years of age.
• Not indicated for hypertensive patients.

How to Use : 

1. Children from 12 years of age and adults: 600 mg daily (1 effervescent tablet) (preferably in the evening).
2. Fluimucil can be taken for 5 days in a row. 
3. Dissolve the effervescent tablet in a glass of water and drink immediately.
4. Lemon Flavor with slight sulfur smell may be perceived upon blister opening.
5. Long-term treatment: 600 mg daily, with a maximum treatment duration of 3-6 months.
